FYG Upcoming Events: Seminar
Future Youth Group Pakistan celebrated International Youth day on 12 August, 2009 to draw attention of government and International communities on the day by organizing “Peace Walks” with the title of “The Role of Youth for Promoting Peace”. Youth took banners with the Slogans of “Aman Jeetien Ge, Sub Rang Hamare, Diya Jalae Rakhna, Zameen Aman Ke Leay hai, Fasaad ke Leay Nahien”.
In 12 chapters/ district of Pakistan namely Ghotki, Larkana, Hyderabad & Badin (Sindh), Rahim Yaar Khan, Multan, Fasisalabad, Kausr, Lodhran, & Lahore (Punjab), Pishin & Loralai (Baluchistan).
FYG representatives in different chapters addressed to participants “FYG is striving for Youth empowerment, to creating political awareness and liberal democracy among the youth he said Youth should take part in political process they said that youth can play a vital role to bring a real change in the world, FYG condemned terrorist activities in the region he said that extremist has no religion because every religion gives the lesson for Peace & Tolerance”.
In “Peace Walks” organized by FYG Pakistan young generation including journalist, advocates & thousands members of civil society has actively participated over there.
The Organization
The Future Youth Group is the voice of those young people of Pakistan who want to contribute their services to the betterment of the whole community. Basically, it’s the youth wing of the Liberal Forum Pakistan for youth between the ages of 19 and 35. It was formed by youth delegates in 2002 during two days conference on “The role and responsibility of young liberals” It started as a small group of a few likeminded young individuals but today, the FYG represents all four provinces of Pakistan with the registered membership of more than 600 youth.
Vision
The Liberals envision a tolerant and peaceful society where there is democracy and equal opportunities. In the Pakistani society, the young generation is empowered, responsible and active. FYG will be a strong network of liberal youth, assuming a leading role in promoting liberalism, democracy, and peace throughout Pakistan.

Goals
To enhance the understanding of politics among the youth and sensitize them about the socio-political situation of Pakistan. To work as a pressure group to advocate progressive education reform, and to identify and engage potential young politicians in the march towards moderate and democratic political environment.
